Menard and Nicholson Announce Ground Improvement Partnership

Menard and Nicholson Construction Company are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership. Under the partnership, Menard will perform the group's ground improvement work in the United States. Nicholson will continue to perform its comprehensive techniques for deep foundations, earth retention and ground treatment. The two sister companies have already worked together on several significant projects.

Menard Launches New Website

Menard has introduced a new website that reflects the consistent branding of the Soletanche Freyssinet Group, which in North America includes Menard, Nicholson, Reinforced Earth, Freyssinet, Agra Foundations and Geopac. According to Seth Pearlman, president of Menard, “the new website reflects the scope of ground improvement we work and our knowledge and expertise as ground improvement specialists.”

Dan Baird - Purchasing Agent and Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces

In November, the nation celebrated Veterans Day to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces. At Menard we are honored to work with veteran Dan Baird, our purchasing agent, who has served four tours in Air Force Reserves. As a member of Unit 32 APS out of the 911 Air Wing in Pittsburgh, Dan has served in Germany, Kirgizstan, Afghanistan and Iraq. His unit is responsible for the critical task of air terminal operation and air transportation. In his civilian role at Menard, where he has worked for four years, Dan is responsible for all equipment and shop logistics and purchases. He also coordinates with the project managers on costs and invoicing. Before joining Menard he was with our sister company Nicholson for seven years.
