Menard Ground Improvement Specialist:
As a project manager at Menard, Chris is responsible for key facets of projects from estimating, contract negotiation, dispute resolution, change order negotiation, production tracking, managing startup inefficiencies, procuring and managing material suppliers and subcontractors, scheduling, project reporting, financial reporting and projections, cost control and project documentation. Chris has managed several CMC, wick drain and dynamic compaction projects at Menard. Notable projects include the installation of close to 5,000 CMCs to support Bayonne Crossing, a large commercial development in NJ; the installation of CMCs to support a new maintenance hangar that will service the President's helicopters situated on the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA; and a CMC project supporting new bridge abutments at the intersection of the Garden State Parkway and I-78 in Union, NJ. Before joining Menard, Chris spent 13 years as a consulting engineer for Michael Baker Corporation and Paul C. Rizzo Associates, and 7 years as a project manager for ITT/Leopold, a water and wastewater manufacturing company. He has a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is a member of ASCE and DFI. |
