Menard USA Engineer Earns Prestigious Board Certification in Geotechnical Engineering

Pittsburgh, PA – Menard USA proudly announces that John Myers, P.E., Design Manager for the Southern region, has achieved Board Certification in Geotechnical Engineering (BC.GE) from the Academy of Geo-Professionals, a subsidiary of Civil Engineering Certification Inc. and the American Society of Civil Engineers. This certification represents the highest post-license credential in the geotechnical engineering profession and is accredited by the Council of Engineering & Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB).

The BC.GE designation recognizes engineers who demonstrate advanced technical expertise, strong professional ethics, and a commitment to lifelong learning and continuing professional development.

John’s career at Menard USA reflects this dedication. Over the course of his career, he has worked on projects across a variety of sectors, including roadways, commercial developments, oil and gas facilities, port and terminal facilities, data centers, and multi-family residences. Based in Richmond, VA, John is a licensed Professional Engineer in 11 states across the southern United States and an active member of ASCE, where he has held leadership positions in both the Houston and Richmond branches. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus from Virginia Tech.
